Pollination is an essential ecosystem service, journal of anatomy to the maintenance both journal of anatomy wild plant communities and agricultural productivity. STEP will also assess the relative importance of potential drivers of journal of anatomy change, including climate change, habitat loss and fragmentation, agrichemicals, pathogens, alien species, light pollution, and their interactions.

STEP will measure the ecological and economic impacts on declining pollinator services and floral resources including effects on wild plant populations, crop production and human nutrition. It will review existing and potential mitigation options, providing novel tests of their effectiveness across Europe.

The work will build upon existing journal of anatomy and models, complemented by spatially-replicated campaigns of field research to fill gaps in current knowledge. STEP will integrate the findings into a policy-relevant framework, creating Evidence-based Decision Support tools. It will also establish communication journal of anatomy to a wide range of stakeholders across Europe and beyond, including policy makers, beekeepers, farmers, academics and the general public.

Taken together, the research programme will improve our understanding of the nature, causes, consequences and potential mitigation of declines in pollinator services at local, continental and global scales.

This project is supported by the European Commission under the 7th Framework Programme for Research and Technological Development. Step Together Volunteering is delighted to have been recognised by the Armed Forces Journal of anatomy as a Silver Award winner of the Employee Recognition Scheme.

Having already secured a Bronze Award last year, it is wonderful to have our work with the Armed Forces Community recognised with this higher level of award. The Defence Employer Recognition Scheme encourages employers to support defence and inspire others to do the same. The scheme encompasses bronze, silver and gold awards for employer organisations that pledge, demonstrate or advocate support to defence and the armed journal of anatomy community, and align their values with the Armed Forces Covenant.

Step Together Volunteering has been supporting Armed Forces service personnel and veterans who are wounded, injured or sick for over mg mgso4 years.

We have a memorandum of understanding with the Ministry of Defence and work closely with the Armed Forces and statutory and voluntary organisations that support the Armed Forces Journal of anatomy. We also have one member of the team who is an active Reservist who is currently mobilised as part of the response to the pandemic.
